Are there Shortcuts for Interviews and Jobs?

There are few shortcuts, unfortunately.

But there are two. I'll talk about one today:

The Inside Contact.

You have got to take advantage of the people you know.

You need a good resume. This helps of course. Occasionally the right resume will impress someone and get passed on to the right person, but you will have more luck if you’ve have played a role in getting it to the right person.  Of course, that means we’re talking about effective networking.  Meet with people constantly. Ask about opportunities. Let them know what you are up to. Ask for help. Take notes. Get more contacts and follow up. Then tomorrow start again. It's not complicated. It's all about persistence.

If you need an experienced resume writer and career coach to help you advance to the next level, I can help you craft a game plan and a resume to get you to your goal.
